JEAN POLLOCK is a graduate of the Commercial Arts Course at Danforth Technical School, Toronto. After raising her two daughters, she decided to paint in her spare time. Proficient in oils and acrylics, she has also enjoyed working in watercolour for the past few years.

Under her father's guidance, Jean developed a love of interpreting the outdoors through painting. As a young girl, she painted in the areas surrounding their family cottage at Frenchman's Bay on Lake Ontario.

Painting for pleasure is the forefront of Jean's activities and she works from her home studio in  Bobcaygeon, Ontario.
